Cowfish

Cowfish is a local favorite in the town of Lander, Wyoming – with an interesting story about the name (read below). The restaurant was recommended by a local and was a great place to eat and have a cocktail and a local brew. Autumn was our server and was friendly and made great suggestions of menu items. We took her suggestion of crispy brussel sprouts for an appetizer. They were not just a veggie plate it could have been a whole meal. I had the Baby-Back Ribs and Brian had what Autumn called Wyoming in a bowl or as stated on the menu Cow Tenderloin Tips.

In addition to the restaurant, they have a separate bar area where they serve local Lander beers, and a huge outdoor patio. All of the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great!

Important to note… you may need to make a reservation if you are going on a weekend. We were there on Wednesday night and it was packed!

Finding these local restaurants is a big part of the adventure. Hopefully the “big” part doesn’t equate to my anatomy. 🙂
