Dellanera RV Park

Our favorite place to set up camp when visiting Galveston is Dellanera RV Park. It’s a small private park, right on the beach at the end of the seawall, so no crossing the road. It’s pretty low key and that’s what we like. It’s not over the top, but the amenities are more than sufficient. After all, what else do you need more than the beach!

All the RV sites are excellent, but if you plan in advance you can get one of the back-in waterfront spots. and have nothing between you and the beach and water. The middle two rows are pull through sites, which still have a good view of the beach. Finally, the back row lines a small lagoon where you can wet a hook right out your back door. We have always found the staff to be very pleasant and accommodating at Dellanera.

The location of Dellanera is perfect for being close to everything but far enough away to enjoy the secluded beach and seabreeze. It was a time for us to relax and enjoy the beginning of our full-time RV ride. Mission accomplished!
