Starlight Theater

A visit to Big Bend isn’t complete without a stop at the Starlight Theater to satisfy your dining, entertainment and shopping indulgences. Located just off the beat and path in Terlingua Texas, you will find this popular establishment located in what is dubbed Ghost Town Texas. It is set in a primitive Texas landscape and the ruins of the Chisos Mining Company nestled in with quirky art studios, rental cabins and an old jail house. It’s a popular place and we were excited to get a chance to visit without too long of a wait. We enjoyed the wait with our dining companions in the entertaining outdoor bar.

This place is very unique with a fun atmosphere and live entertainment on most nights. They have a broad menu in which our crew tackled the Terlingua chili, shrimp tacos, pork medallions and hamburgers. Everyone was very pleased.

Be sure to visit the shop next door before you leave. They have an extensive showcase of t-shirts, jewelry, leather goods and much more.
